Islamic Jihadist is ‘Front Militer’
In ‘Commander in Chief’ last night’s episode (in Metro TV), the president had a problem with a gun dealer. This gun dealer tried to sell the guns to a group called – guess what – Islamic jihadist. Well that’s not surprising that an American movie now put “Islamic jihadist” as the enemy, just like they did with “the Russian”. But it is interesting that Metro TV translated these words (Islamic jihadist) into “Front Militer” (military front). Maybe Metro TV tried to make this series not so prejudiced against Islam, but from the beginning of this series (at least from what I’ve seen in Metro TV) Muslim groups have been portrayed as the enemy. Oh well. Maybe one day we can have a TV series that tells about the daily life of Osama bin Laden
